CS First is a free program that increases student access and exposure to computer science education through after-school, in-school, and summer programs. All clubs are run by teachers and/or community volunteers. They target grades 4th-8th (ages 9-14), but can be tailored to fit your schedule and needs. Lessons involve block-based coding using Scratch and are themed to attract students with varied interests.

Mission Bit offers project-based coding courses for high school students, that are taught by college CS majors and supported by volunteer professional software engineers. Mission Bit’s complementary programs create pathways for ‘limited access’ students to form connections with technology professionals and learn the skills, processes, and technologies used by professional programmers.

FIRST is the ultimate "sport for the mind." High school teams build and program robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors. It’s as close to real-world engineering as a student can get. Volunteer professional mentors lend their time and talents to guide each team. Each season ends with an exciting FIRST Championship. There are also competitions for elementary and middle school teams.
